Six-inch insulated metal panels attach to the steel structure with insulated metal panel fasteners and a three-by-three-inch twelve-gauge galvanized angle with concrete fasteners spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The concrete floor slab bears on steel framing, with cementitious firespray applied to the underside of the deck and structural support. The joint between the floor edge and the insulated metal panel wall contains packed mineral wool and continuous firestop sealant. Firestop is required at any joint between the floor and the insulated metal panel wall or curtain wall.
