A smoke seal is installed at the bottom of the door where scheduled, resting above a floor finish specified per the schedule with a maximum clearance of one-quarter inch. The door frame is positioned beyond the seal assembly. The opening width varies across the assembly. The entire door and frame unit bears on a concrete floor slab referenced to the finished floor elevation.
