This outside corner assembly consists of metal wall panels mounted on vertical Z-girts over a layer of rigid insulation. An air and water barrier is applied directly over the exterior sheathing. The corner is finished with a metal trim flashing secured with rivets and sealed with butyl mastic tape. A closure is installed at the corner interface, maintaining a one-half inch clearance from the panel edge. The corner trim flashing extends a minimum of four and one-half inches from the corner point.
