A wide-flange beam connects to a wide-flange column web in a moment frame configuration that accommodates cantilever conditions. The connection utilizes a continuous web plate matching the beam web thickness where penetrations occur, welded with specified fillet sizes and partial joint penetration welds. Run-off tabs remain in place typically, and continuity plates are provided at the top and bottom of the column as detailed in the referenced sheets. The number of bolts and web plate thicknesses are determined by the structural schedule.
