The head condition of a security door integrates into a seven and one-half inch wall type per plan. A six-inch wide box beam spans the opening beneath an eight-inch sixteen-gauge track and ten-inch sixteen-gauge studs. Shims are required at the frame connection with continuous sealant and a backer rod applied on both sides. The door assembly features a non-removable security-type glazing bead system holding one-quarter-inch standard glazing.
