An aluminum storefront framing member connects to a metal stud wall finished with gypsum wallboard on both sides. The cavity of the metal stud partition contains batt insulation. Joint sealant seals the perimeter gap between the storefront frame and the adjacent wall construction. Wood blocking is provided at the jamb condition. The assembly detail aligns the storefront centerline with the wall thickness per architectural drawings.
