A 4 1/2-inch precast concrete cap with a 1/8-inch drip edge sits atop a concrete masonry unit wall. Two 1/2-inch diameter by 6-inch long Nelson studs anchor the cap into the grouted cell of the masonry wall. The precast sections are limited to a maximum length of 48 inches. Reinforcing for the concrete masonry unit wall is specified per structural drawings.
