This sliding wood door jamb assembly features a gasketed wood sliding door secured with sixteen gauge steel framing per manufacturer specifications. Gypsum wallboard is applied over the framing, accompanied by sound attenuation batts and wainscot elements sized per plans. Standard joint sealants are specified at intersections to complete the framed opening.
