Concrete loading bay platform assembly featuring structural concrete slabs and concrete walls. A built-up high-density foam layer is integrated into the wall assembly as indicated on the structural drawings. The platform edge is protected by a 3x3x1/4-inch galvanized steel angle embedded with 1/2-inch diameter by 4-inch studs spaced at 12 inches on center, set flush with the adjacent concrete. Six-inch-wide embedded steel runners are also provided flush with the adjacent concrete for compactors, similarly anchored with 1/2-inch diameter by 4-inch studs at 12 inches on center.
