A rectangular opening in a concrete wall panel is reinforced with steel reinforcing bars on all sides. Two number five bars run continuously horizontally above and below the opening, supplemented by diagonal corner bars measuring four feet long on each face. Two number five bars run vertically along each jamb. The finished floor line and bottom of the panel establish the vertical reference elevations.
