A vertical partition head condition transitions to an acoustic plaster soffit alongside a suspended wood slat ceiling and a V.I.A. modular system ceiling track. The metal stud partition uses 18-gauge 4-inch metal studs spaced at 16 inches on center with a 4-inch stud brace at 4 feet on center, secured using three number 10 sheet metal screws. The partition head connects to the structure per the partition detail, with a 45-degree maximum brace angle. Acoustical panels and typical acoustic tile trim finish the adjacent ceiling layout, referenced per the reflected ceiling plan.
