This interior partition detail shows a metal stud box header seated within a metal stud track at the top of the assembly. The wall construction features five-eighths inch gypsum board on either side over framing. Below the header, three-quarter inch painted hardwood trim frames the opening. A one-and-one-half-inch rod runs vertically through the center of the framed space. Painted architectural trim finishes the lower section of the assembly.
