A non-rated recessed fire extinguisher cabinet or other specialty equipment is installed within a metal framing partition as scheduled. The wall opening is sized as required by the equipment manufacturer. Acoustic insulation is provided within the stud cavity as required by the partition type, utilizing one and five-eighths inch metal framing.
