A door threshold sits at floor level between inside and outside spaces with a maximum one-quarter inch height tolerance. A ten-inch smooth kickplate mounts to the exterior face of the door leaf. Vertical and horizontal dimensions specify clearance limits including a half-inch maximum and a ten-inch minimum height.
