An aluminum storefront frame connects to a three and five-eighths inch metal stud wall assembly with gypsum board finished with medium-density fiberboard at locations below ten feet. Joint sealant is applied at the interface between the storefront frame and the gypsum board wall. The wall assembly is detailed per plan with batt insulation filling the cavity between interior and exterior wall layers.
