New wood blocking raises the height of the curb to eight inches minimum above the finished roof surface. The assembly features a reinforced flashing membrane adhered over the blocking with a termination bar, sealed with heat weld and sealant. A new sheet metal counter flashing and sheet metal flashing tie into the reinstated existing roof hatch using gasketed fasteners and galvanized annular ring shank nails at three inches on center. All fasteners and hardware are galvanized for use with pressure treated lumber.
