An Armstrong SJCS seismic clip snaps over the main runner at the cross tee intersection. Trim cross tee ends insert into the main runners per manufacturer instructions. A Tek screw installs loosely through the clip slot to attach the clip to the main runner, allowing for movement. Seismic joints are required every 2,500 square feet of new ceiling area and at the junction between new and existing T-bar ceiling systems.
