A structural steel hollow structural section cantilever bracket supports a countertop with a maximum projection of 1'-7". The hollow structural section support member is welded with a 3/16-inch fillet weld to a 5"x8"x3/8" steel base plate. The base plate is anchored using four 1/2-inch diameter Hilti HUS concrete screw anchors embedded 2-1/2 inches into the support wall. Shims are provided as required to level the equipment, and all exposed steel edges are ground smooth and finished with specified paint coats PT-6 and PT-7.
