A one-half inch plate connects multiple structural steel members radiating from a common work point. The intersecting WT-shapes and framing members are secured with bolted connections and welded joints using one-quarter inch and five-sixteenth inch fillet welds. Typical spacing and edge clearances are detailed with dimensions ranging from one to three inches. The gusset plate is welded to the supporting column assembly with welds applied to three sides as indicated.
