A cement plaster soffit is framed with six-inch channel studs and finished with a cement plaster stop. A five-eighths by two-inch soffit screen reglet attaches to a continuous three and five-eighths-inch channel stud at the perimeter. The assembly interfaces with a rated wall assembly sized per plan, maintaining a two-inch clearance gap.
