The concrete slab is floated to achieve the required surface alignments for the different floor finishes. Resinous flooring meets carpet tile or walkoff mat at a stainless steel Schluter Vinpro-U transition anchor. The transition strip is anchored directly to the concrete slab and sealed for water resistance.
