A continuous 1/4-inch steel plate is welded to the top tubes, with all exposed undersides painted black on both sides. A cantilevered top includes double 3/4-inch fire-retardant plywood sheets projecting outward, terminating in a 24-inch stainless steel drying rail sealed with silicone along all perimeters.
