This assembly consists of three-and-five-eighths-inch metal studs supporting a speaker enclosure lined with duct liner and three-quarter-inch plywood. Three inches of acoustical insulation run continuous surrounding the speaker box. The enclosure terminates at a scheduled ceiling with a speaker opening sized per plan, featuring one-and-seven-eighths-inch stretched speaker cloth attached to wood trim as specified in the finish schedule.
