A steel stair assembly features metal pan treads or concrete-filled steel pan treads supported by a metal plate or channel stringer. The guardrail incorporates a one and one-half inch diameter outside diameter tube and a one and one-half inch diameter pipe rail, engineered to prevent the passage of four-inch and three-and-three-quarter-inch spheres. The stair connection is secured using a bolted steel angle anchored to the structural support below.
