A door frame head condition is set into a concrete wall panel. A continuous closed-cell backer rod and sealant are installed all around on both sides of the joint between the concrete panel and the steel door frame. The frame is filled with foam and incorporates a 3/4-inch inverted 18-gauge steel channel and top cap. A drip cap is provided per schedule above the exterior face of the opening. Dimensions indicate a 3/4-inch offset from the panel edge, a 1-1/4-inch dimension to the exterior edge, and a 5-3/4-inch width for the door frame assembly.
