This assembly mounts a Fair-Play scoreboard weighing three hundred thirty-five pounds to a concrete masonry unit pilaster backed by metal studs and one layer of five-eighths-inch gypsum wallboard. The structural support consists of a typical hollow structural section measuring six by six inches by three-eighths inches thick welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld to a half-inch steel plate. This mounting plate is secured with four three-quarter-inch Hilti KB3 expansion anchors featuring four and one-half inches of embedment. Additional mounting brackets and fasteners are provided per the manufacturer requirements. Top of steel elevations are indicated at one thousand one hundred forty point zero seven feet and one thousand one hundred forty-six point seven four feet above finished floor.
