A hollow metal frame connects to a concrete masonry unit lintel with varying joint dimensions and sealant at the interface. The hollow metal frame head profile wraps the masonry opening with specific dimensional clearances of 2 inches, 5/8 inch, and asymmetrical side dimensions of 1 9/16 inches and 1 15/16 inches. A bead of sealant seals the joint between the frame and the masonry on both sides. Dimensions are coordinated according to the specific partition type for varying conditions.
