A three-quarter-inch tempered glass panel extends upward from a shoe element belonging to a Panelgrip dry glaze glass railing system. The shoe element is flanked by blocking as required and encased in a stone base with a scheduled floor assembly below at Level 1. A three-eighths-inch joint filled with backer rod and sealant is provided adjacent to the glass panel. Stone infill pieces run continuously along the opening on both sides of the base assembly.
