Storefront framing members integrate against a square structural column. A metal column cover wraps the column, with storefront mullions positioned at the column faces. A shim space exists between the storefront framing and the column cover for alignment and tolerance. The joint between the storefront framing and the column cover features a backer rod and sealant for a weather-tight transition.
