A 1 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch stainless steel guardrail post is welded to a 12 inch by 6 inch steel base plate with a 1/8 inch fillet weld. The base plate is set in sealant and bolted to the concrete slab or beam. The centerline of the post aligns with the curtain wall mullion located directly below.
