An exterior wall penetration houses a twenty-four gauge minimum galvanized steel conductor functioning as an overflow scupper sized per the applicable plumbing code. The roof assembly receives a roof membrane installed per the roofing manufacturer's recommendations, extending up and through the scupper opening. Approved sealant is applied at the exterior frame joints. The scupper maintains a one-inch minimum extension, and a four-inch dam height is established above the level of water flow at the drain head.
