A continuous metal track runner secures to the concrete floor slab using zero point one eight zero inch power-driven shot pins spaced at sixteen inches on center maximum with one and one-half inch minimum embedment. Metal studs attach to the track through the flange using number eight screws. Gypsum board is installed over the metal studs with base moulding at the finish floor level, and sealant applied at the floor junction. Insulation is provided within the stud cavity when noted on the floor plan.
