A concrete-filled steel pipe guard post extends three feet six inches above grade and embeds into a forty-two inch deep concrete footing. The pipe features a sloped concrete top and is painted safety yellow throughout. A one-quarter inch thick square steel plate is welded to the bottom of the pipe, with dimensions sized per the data schedule ranging from six to ten inches square based on pipe diameters of four, six, or eight inches. The exterior footing is PVC or concrete, positioned two inches above finished grade in landscape areas with one-half inch radius tooled edges. Three inches of clearance are maintained below the base plate.
