An interior light-gauge steel stud wall assembly is framed with C-channel tracks at the top and bottom, braced by overhead straps. A horizontal white board backing measuring 8 inches by 16 gauge is integrated into the stud framing at specified vertical intervals of 32 inches and 48 inches from the base. All whiteboard backing locations are coordinated with the owner.
