The side wall grab bar is positioned 33 to 36 inches to the top of the grab bar surface above the finished floor, extending a minimum of 54 inches from the rear wall with a 42-inch minimum length bar located at least 24 inches minimum from the front of the water closet. The grab bar maintains a 12-inch maximum distance from the rear wall and provides 1-1/2 inches of clear space to the wall. The dispenser outlet is centered 7 to 9 inches in front of the water closet, positioned 19 inches minimum to the outlet above the finished floor, and requires a 1-1/2 inch minimum clearance above the grab bar.
