The assembly transitions from a concrete structural slab supporting a concrete topping slab to a wall framed with cementitious backer board and finished with tile per the finish schedule. A continuous sheet metal angle anchors at the base of the wall above the topping slab. A moisture barrier with a crack suppression membrane underlies the terrazzo floor system. An eighth-inch divider strip separates the terrazzo flooring from the tile cove base, which is detailed with a quarter-inch aluminum tile trim. The wall assembly receives a tile bond coat behind the finish tile.
