A medium broom finish concrete truck apron features a thickened edge to the bottom of the base at natural grade, with a tooled one-half inch radius edge adjacent to asphalt concrete paving over aggregate base over compacted soil. The concrete slab has a nine inch minimum thickness and nine inch thickened edge transition. Natural grade or aggregate base is placed per the soils report below the paving sections.
