The roof membrane turns up the wall over a four-inch perlite cant strip, nailed to the deck at twelve inches on center. Base flashing consists of two reinforcement plies set in asphalt and a mineral-surfaced flashing sheet, with an additional ply at the waterway extending thirty-six inches minimum. A twenty-four gauge galvanized iron two-piece surface-mounted counterflashing secures to the smooth-troweled concrete tilt-up panel with neoprene-gasketed fasteners at sixteen inches on center. The top edge of the base flashing receives a three-course application, and the counterflashing secures with one-inch head fasteners at six to eight inches on center. Sealant applies at the junction of the counterflashing and the primed concrete surface.
