A six-inch steel pipe is filled with concrete and painted safety yellow, standing three feet six inches high above the floor surface. The pipe is welded to a ten-inch by ten-inch by one-quarter-inch steel base plate, which sits on a one-quarter-inch neoprene pad with sealant applied all around. Four five-eighths-inch diameter anchor bolts with washers secure the base plate to an eight-inch thick concrete slab.
