An acoustic ceiling suspension grid terminates at an unattached wall partition using an optional Armstrong BERC 2 end retaining clip allowing one and one-half inches of total travel. The main or cross runner is supported by a twelve-gauge hanger wire secured with a minimum of three tight turns in three inches. A hemmed angle molding connects to the wall partition using number ten sheet metal screws at each stud. Scheduled ceiling panels complete the interior finish up to the wall boundary.
