This assembly utilizes a pre-molded thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) pipe flashing to seal a roof penetration for pipes ranging from one to six inches in diameter. The flashing base is secured to the roof deck using fasteners and heavy-duty seam plates spaced at a maximum of twelve inches on center, with a continuous bead of TPO general-purpose sealant applied at the perimeter. The top of the flashing is sealed against the pipe with a stainless steel clamping ring and a continuous bead of AP or high-grade sealant. An optional field-fabricated metal hood may be installed above the clamping ring. The pipe must be anchored for stability, and service line temperatures cannot exceed 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
