A recessed flat panel display is mounted within a wall assembly backed by three-quarter-inch fire-retardant-treated plywood. The surrounding framing consists of six-by-six box beams and two-and-a-half-inch channels integrated into the building envelope. An electrical and data junction box is provided within the recess with specified conduit coordinated with the audiovisual vendor. The display mounting kit is provided by the tenant and installed by the general contractor.
