A painted steel pipe bollard extends four feet above grade with a rounded concrete top finished with a half-inch crown. The bollard is filled with concrete and set into a concrete sleeve surrounded by non-shrink grout unless otherwise noted. The footing features a reinforced concrete base with a minimum three-inch clearance below the baseplate and a six-inch minimum depth at the haunches. Reinforcement consists of number five rebars at six inches on center each way with a minimum of four number five bars each way. Baseplate and sleeve depths are sized per the project schedule.
