Suspended ceiling installation details show tight and clearance wall connections at wall moldings. The tight wall installation uses a screw tightened through the main runner web to restrict separation from the wall molding. The clearance wall installation allows for one point five inches of total travel with a three-quarter-inch wall molding. Seismic clips can be used to eliminate the need for stabilizer bars. Ceiling areas less than one hundred forty-four square feet are exempt from seismic requirements.
