A single-ply roof membrane transitions vertically up the wall with a minimum twelve-inch flashing height and is fully adhered to the substrate. The top of the membrane is secured with a surface-mounted termination bar fastened at eight inches on center using grommetted fasteners, sealed at the top edge with sealant. An optional surface-mounted metal counter flashing is anchored above the termination bar for weather protection. The roof assembly is supported below per the structural and architectural roof type specifications using manufacturer-approved anchorage systems.
