A curbless shower receptor assembly is supported by a concrete substrate and finished in accordance with TCNA B415-13 guidelines. A continuous shower pan membrane extends beneath a reinforced mortar bed on the floor and behind a backer board and waterproof membrane on the wall. The wall assembly incorporates a vapor retarder and scheduled wall tile, while the floor features scheduled floor tile over the mortar bed. A flexible sealant fills the junction gap between the wall and floor tiles. Pea gravel or other weep protection is positioned around weep holes at the receptor edge to maintain proper drainage.
