This heavy asphalt pavement assembly consists of a 4.0-inch asphalt surface course placed over an 8.0-inch aggregate base course and an 8.0-inch aggregate subbase. The subbase may consist of granular site grading fills with a minimum CBR of 30 percent. The entire pavement section is installed over properly prepared non-engineered fills, suitable natural soils, or structural site grading fill extending to suitable natural soils. This pavement section is designed for use in all truck drive aisles and trailer parking areas.
