An aluminum storefront wall system with a glazed-in metal panel bears on an eight-inch concrete curb over shims and a backer rod with sealant. The concrete curb incorporates a waterstop and a cast-in reveal with bond-breaker tape and sealant. Below the curb, the assembly ties into a concrete topping slab over hot fluid-applied rubberized asphalt waterproofing and a joint filler. A concrete waterproofing admixture is integrated into the curb, and a level marker establishes the top of slab elevation.
