The curved and beveled nosing profile details allowable geometric limits for stair construction. A maximum horizontal projection of 1 1/2 inches is permitted for the nosing. The tread edge radius is limited to a maximum of 1/2 inch. The riser angle allows a maximum inclination of 30 degrees from vertical.
