A pre-formed pipe boot fits over the penetration through a concrete on metal deck roof assembly topped with rigid insulation sloped to drain and wood blocking matching the insulation height. A vapor barrier wraps the assembly beneath the insulation, while a fully adhered single-ply roofing membrane covers the top surface and is secured with fasteners and plates. A continuous weld runs around the boot perimeter with continuous sealant applied at the weld. Sealing mastic fills the joint beneath a stainless steel clamping ring secured at the top of the boot, finished with a continuous bead of sealant.
